ABOUT ME
I'm really scattered and sometimes
cannot stick to a schedule to save
my life. It's not uncommon for me
to "Get ready to brew
xxxxx" about 5 times before I
actually get the brew started.
Sorry to be such a flip-flopper.
It's not nearly as bad now that my
grain mill is motorized.
Someday I'll start my first lager.
Someday.

Future Brews A Berliner Weisse, a Dry Stout, '06 Rye IPA, definitely more Hobgoblin, maybe a Carrot beer like RichBrewer was talking about??, maybe a Mexican Chocolate beer as well... |

Secondary Don't use 'em. |
Bottled Brettanomyces Raspberry 888 RIS Limited Edition - Only 5 Bottles In Existence (dumped the rest of the batch). - Tastes terrible. |

I started brewing in September 2007. I
have brewed only all-grain beer since
Batch 1. (Except for one batch that I
helped a friend brew, using my equipment,
but that doesn't really count.)
I brew
only ales, since I haven't invested in
temperature control yet... but I'm dying
to find a chest freezer to use for a
fermentation cabinet. I brew a lot of
Hobgoblin... other than that, my beers
rotate frequently, and I rarely brew a
beer twice.
I fell away from brewing in
early 2009, due to a lack of time and
personal depression due to my work
situation at the time. I finally got my
equipment sorted and cleaned in Late 2011,
a rudimentary brewing space set up where I
can weigh and mill my grains and store my
gear, and as a result, I brewed my first
(returning) batch on 1/2/2012.

| jmulligan 10/30/2008 About what you'd expect - bruised
elbows and butt, and a sore spot
where the full 5-gallon bucket
slammed into my chest. But I am
ridiculously clumsy (I have been
falling up and down stairs since I
was 10), so it was nothing new. I
was just so glad nothing bad
happened to the beer! |
