Around 1992, came across brewing equipment
in a hardware store and thought, "why
not?" Brewed some malty but hoppy
lager type ales. Fair bit of Corn sugar
in those days, but other than the
hallucinations from the 12% a/v beer I
made once, they tasted fine.
Back then
I didn't quite understand the concept of
bittering additions and the brewing stunk
up the house so the boils for about 30
mins with a hello of a lot of haller and
saaz hops!
British neighbor was also
making stouts so I started making those
and other dark beers. Back then you had
to actually read books! The Internet was
new and and the concept of Mozilla was
just being born.
