I got into all grain brewing by helping
out my neighbor with a batch of American
Wheat Beer. Previously I was making only
Ciders. I lived in Scotland for a few
years and really developed a taste for
Ciders. So when I moved back to Dallas I
had to start making my own because the
stuff on the shelves in the local store
was crap...
I recently just finished my
first all grain set up. It is a three tier
/ three burner set up with all stainless
steel 10 gallon kettles. The Mash tun and
Boil kettle have stainless steel false
bottoms to catch the grains and hops. I
have a copper spiral sparge system that is
still in development.
