I originally wanted to make wine and was
talking to my boss who I knew was a home
brewer. He kept encouraging me to try
brewing my own beer as making a great wine
was much more difficult as to making a
great beer. After much research I decided
to buy a book and some equipment and brew
a batch. My first batch was an extract
California Pale Ale that turned out pretty
good.
Brewing a few more batches and
constantly reading about how to brew
better beer I moved up to a conical and
bought more tools. This has been great fun
and I’m learning more and more each day.
This forum has been a huge help as I have
been reading what forum members have
tried, made etc. Thanks to all who have
posted questions and help, I hope to
contribute as well in the future.
