ABOUT ME
I've been married for over thirty
years to a wonderful partner in
life. Have two great kids, both
in college: oldest (daughter) just
finishing up and the youngest
(son) just starting.
I'm a Christian living in the
Bible Belt who thinks it is not
only okay to drink beer, but who
thinks making it is fine as well.
Unfortunately the state in which I
live disagrees with the latter.

Future Brews Either a Wheat or a Rye as well as a Sweet Stout, something like a Watney's Cream Stout. Oh, and EdWort's Apfelwein is planned as well; haven't tried that yet. |
Primary Nothing :( |
Secondary Nothing :( |
Bottled Wee Heavy that's not yet ready and an Amber Ale that'll be gone way too soon. |
Kegged Nails. It was a long time ago, though. |

Can't really remember what spurred my
original entry into home brewing; probably
just something I ran across while
wandering around the web. I brewed three
batches of extract, all pretty good. Then
I tried an all grain without the room or
right equipment; went bad and I didn't
brew again for several (five or so) years.
Got back into it when I was down in
Mobile and was picking up a wine kit; we
(SWMBO & I) had been getting into
wines and wanted to try and make a batch.
While there, I also picked up a brew kit.
This was in the fall of '07.
