ABOUT ME
Started home brewing due the lack
of beer selection in the rural
area where I live. i lived in
Germany for 3 years and became a
fan of "echt bier" (as
well as my wife). I am married
with two children, 4 year old boy
and a teenage girl.

I have no idea why I started, mostly to
get a taste of the bier I was drinking in
Europe. My first beer was a Belgian Pale
Ale from AHS (extract with steeping
grains) and it was fantastic. My second
batch was an extract Hefe recipe and it
also good. I have since branched out and
brewed about 12 different styles in my
first 6 months of brewing. About 4
batches in, I bought a mash tun, now I'm
doing All Grain. It saves me money
right!! (of course the payback for the
$1000 I've sunk into equipment will take
some time) Now working on a single tier
brew cart, that will save me a ton of
money.
