WHAT'S GOING ON
Future Brews
Westvleteren Apt 12 Clone. My favorite beer in the world is the Westy 12. If I can make a clone that is so close I can't tell the difference, I will die a happy man.
Primary
Nothing at the moment, soon the Westy clone.
Secondary
Nothing at the moment, I have 2.
Bottled
Belgian Specialty, Chocolate-Vanilla RIS, English Brown Ale.
Kegged
Only thing so far is a Kitchen Sink brew, kinda like a Belgian meets Brown Ale meets Pale Ale.

BREW HISTORY
My friend LTJudge got me into trying real
beer, and then he got me into brewing it.
Only been doing this for about a year, but
I love it. Made about 4 batches so far.
Just jumped to kegging, and building my
mash setup. My favorite styles are stouts
and belgians (Trappist).

I picked up all my westie on e-bay, some of the sellers I purchased from no longer offer westvleteren. However I have purcahse from a seller that goes by Gilbert007 he currently has two case of westie 12/8 mix for sale. about $199 plus shipping which will run you about $104 to the U.S. I know its costly, but what the hell we only live for a short while on this planet and you can't take your money with you.

I was in Belgium in 2006 and went to westvleteren, I did not know then, wha

I would suggest that you read the book by Stan Hieronymus Brew like a Monk. It has great info on Westvleteren and all the Trappist ales. I too am a great lover of the Westie 12. I have a case of 12's 8's and a couple of blondes.

Good luck on the Brew and if you want to toss around some ideas send me a message.
